Still no news!

I should mention I started this post last weekend!
It's a beautiful sunny day here and I have all the windows open. There are now two condos for sale in the complex.  Both listed at $359,900.00.  Of course I had to have a peek at the images on the Internet and in my opinion ours is much nicer and elegantly decorated compared to the other two.  As I keep saying to hubby, we should be selling this one and going home!  **Fingers are still crossed and prayers are said for miracles**.

We have to start putting the outside furniture away and getting the place ready for winter....OMG, not what I want to do or where I want to be for another winter!  (job completed)....Hubby had to go to Edmonton and Cranbrook and Sparwood this week.  The miles on the car is unreal!

Details!

BTW, forgot to mention that hubby also got ANOTHER speeding ticket in Medicine Hat...this one by a camera....they are all over the place here.  Because they can't prove who was driving he doesn't loose any points!  SLOW DOWN!
NO, I don't think that's a cop!

Better half has classes on Wednesday from 6-9...this is for his LC exam in November.  Hopefully it will open up more doors for him.

We still have 3 weeks vacation to book but have no idea when I will be allowed to take the time.  If we don`t use it by end of December we loose it and don`t get paid for it either.  Perhaps this will all be cleared up when hubby has his meeting with the NEW guy in charge of sales.

Here are some images that I think are nice:

S*O*M*E*T*I*M*E*S

Well another week about to begin.  The clean up continues here after the snow storm we had last week.  I must say it truly is a shame to see so much damage and loss of beautiful trees.  The condo will have an arborist come out and see what needs to be done.

Went for a drive yesterday to get out of the house...went to Head Smashed In Buffalo Jump!  What a name and a mouthful.  Must say it was quite interesting and simply amazing to hear the history behind this.

The weather was finally nice enough to have a BBQ last night but when the sun started going down, it got darned cold!  Once again my winter jacket came in handy.

The snow melted from the deck and the furniture was saved with our new cover!

We talked to some good friends on Friday evening, they live in Ancaster, ON.  Paul is fighting cancer and we are very concerned...we met Paul & Jeannie on one of our trips to Florida.  Great people and we miss them dearly.  Keep fighting Paul, you can and will beat this!

Last week was a real struggle for me....I won't post anything on here, never know who might read this.  Things must change.  I am so happy to have the support and love of my significant other, not sure what I would do without him.  I love you sweetie!

Last Thursday I really needed this.  Love you Alan with all my heart.  Thanks for understanding and supporting me!

We were going to go to Banff today for a drive but it's cloudy at the moment so decided against it.  It's cool here and would be much cooler in the mountains.

Hubby has signed up to take his LC exam, he has study sessions every Wednesday night and the exam is the first of November.  I fully support him in this and hate to see him wasting his talents on this company. 1.75%!

S E R I O U S L Y !!!

Well times are changing....believe it or not, we had snow this week...but next week could be worse!  The forecast for next Tuesday is a whopping 4 C...translated = COLD!  With the possibility of the white stuff = SNOW!

Special weather statement in effect for:
City of Calgary
First snowfall of the season possible on Monday.  Summer will stick around for one more day in Southern Alberta before an intense cold front moves through on Monday.

This cold front is currently producing rain over Northern Alberta. However, for many areas of Western Alberta an unseasonably cold Arctic airmass will cause rain to change to snow on Monday. Current guidance suggests over 5 centimetres of snow is possible for these regions.
The public is advised to monitor future forecasts and warnings as warnings may be required or extended.

Tom Graham of the Prairie Storm Chasers tweeted this picture of snow in Highwood Pass in Kananaskis Country today. The high-elevation area is located near Upper Kananaskis Lake.

Well still no word and once again my patience is wearing thin! LOL.  I really would like to exit Dodge before the winter sets in. My boss was off this week so it was a little better.  One girl starts at 8:00 AM showed up one morning at 8:30 and the next morning at 9:30...reason...traffic! My thoughts...LEAVE EARLIER! Kindergarden was different this week...but that's a whole other story!

Alan's sister leaves for Tuscany this weekend for a 3 week vacation.  We have 3 weeks to take before the end of the year but who knows when I'll be allowed to have the time off!  Request = Denied!  Here are pics you might enjoy!
