Still hoping for miracles!

Saturday...been busy cleaning the house...so much for relaxing on the weekends.  Next week we are off until the following Thursday.  Think we'll get up and head out to who knows where!  We need to get away from this stress and crap for a couple of days.

Had my doctor appointment last week...he removed more cancer cells and is watching some other "suspicious" spots on my back and arms.  I go back in early December, just before we take our Christmas holidays.

We have booked into a two bedroom deluxe condo at the Oasis in Palm Springs in October.  The flights are booked and we are soooooooo looking forward to it.  Our dear friends the J's are going to join us.  The are even on the same flight as us!  Who knew!  Looking forward to seeing lots of new and exciting places, the J's have been there many times so they will be our "tour guides"  LOL.

Work is getting worse....now have to day a day off every month to the end of the year and perhaps longer.  The company is trying to keep as many people employed as possible.  I understand that but might be a good idea to cut a few useless managers loose!  This job is now costing us money!  Not what we came here for.  They have even cut the car allowance and are now paying so much a KM and most sales reps are not happy with that either.  Alan does a lot of travelling so hopefully it won't affect him too bad.  I expect they will ration the toilet paper before long!

Rations!
We are hoping for good news later next week....miracles do happen so who knows.  One day at a time.  My nieces picked up some furniture at the house in B'ville last weekend, they are thrilled to get it.  One buffet and hutch has been stripped and re-stained, Stacey sent me pics, it is beautiful.  B'ville is another story in regards to the renters!  All I can say is OMG!

Alan's Birthday in B'ville

House sure doesn't look like this now!

Today's headlines on CBC/Calgary!!  More people moving out of Alberta this year!

The latest statistics show a number of people leaving Alberta for other provinces is on the rise!  Statistics Canada shows that 17,600 Albertans moved elsewhere in Canada in the first three months of this year.

Even with the increase in people leaving Alberta, this province still leads the country in population growth with 15,365 people added to the population in the first three months of this year.

Haven't been out to take any pics lately so will add a few from recent outings.  Happy Father's Day to all the special Dad's out there.  Be safe my friends, God Bless.
